REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

CAN-SPAM Rules &
Dealership Compliance.

AutoScope Digital maintains strict CAN-SPAM standards across all conquest database dispatches. Learn how we protect domain sender scores.

1. Compliance Overview

AutoScope Digital is committed to legal transparency. All campaigns managed or executed on behalf of our client stores are built to comply with federal CAN-SPAM standards, shielding your franchise brand from compliance flags.

2. Non-Deceptive Header Information

We ensure that all transmission parameters remain accurate. Specifically:

  • Sender Name: Must clearly list the dealership's brand name (e.g. "AutoNation Toyota Service").
  • Reply-To Parameters: Must route replies to a functional inbox managed by the dealership or campaign support desk.
  • Domain Shielding: We use authenticated sending loops configured with correct SPF, DKIM, and DMARC properties.

3. Transparent Subject Lines

Our subject lines must not deceive the recipient regarding the actual content of the email. Subject headers like "Urgent Recall Notification" may only be deployed if the customer has an active recall matching their VIN database records.

4. Opt-Out Honoring Guidelines

Our delivery engine processes opt-out queries immediately. In compliance with CAN-SPAM rules, we enforce the following restrictions:

  • Every message contains a clear, single-click unsubscribe link in the footer.
  • Unsubscribe request mechanisms are active for at least 30 days post-campaign.
  • Opt-out requests are scrubbed and synced across all dealership lists within 10 business days.

5. Physical Postal Address Inclusion

Every commercial communication deployed through our server channels must include the dealership's valid physical mailing address in the footer template (for example: 433 Plaza Real, Boca Raton, FL 33432).

6. Pre-Flight Database Audits

Before launching a conquest campaign, AutoScope runs your targeting data through an opt-out registry checklist. Any profile flagged for previous opt-out actions is auto-scrubbed from the active dispatch queues.
